Subject: Acquiring Bank
Question: I am trying to figure out a database design schema for an acquiring bank.
These are the intermediaries who transfer terminal transaction data to the card centers.

I need to be able to charge merchants fees based on what type of transaction it is.

For example, there may be differing rates for a card present transactions versus a card not present one.

Barry has identified the 'Things of Interest' as follows :- 1. Acquisitions 2. Banks 3. Cards 4. Card Centers 5. Intermediaries 6. Merchants 7. Terminals 8. Transaction Data 9. Others to be determined
