Back to the Data Model.
The Area being Modelled is :-
A Database for Products and Manufacturers

Its been awhile since I was here and forgot about it till I did some searching.

Found your website again and brings me back to trying to learn more.

I am confused and can not get a proper database design figured out.
I have loads of data needing to put in an organized manner and even though
it is different items they do end up relating.

Products, manufacturers, primary companies, company brands, telephone numbers (100s of 1000) of them,
drawings and contractors.
It is alot of data and just can not see how to make it all link and work together.
I have some parts an pieces of databases.

Not sure if it should be multiple databases or one large one.

I think your site will start me off but if you have a better starting point you can direct me to
for best practices or something would be great.

Barry has defined the 'Things of Interest' as follows :-
A.1 Companies (Primary, etc.)
A.2 Company Brands
A.3 Contractors
A.4 Drawings
A.5 Manufacturers
A.6 Products
A.7 Telephone Numbers
A.8 Others to be determined
