A Data Model for Employee Time Tracking

Hey I have found your site and it looks very nice. I am looking for a database design, which should handle an employee time tracking. I found your scheduling designs, but none of them seem to fit. Let me explain, what I have to cover: There are a few employees. Every employee works on different days/times. Example: Employee A works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from: 08:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 18:00 And he works every second Saturday from 08:30 to 12:00 Employee B works Monday and Friday from 08:300 to 12:00 and 12:30 to 17:30 and also every second Friday from 12:30 to 18:00 And so on. What I also have to cover is, the date/time, when the employee is on holiday/sick. (This wouldnt make any problem) But the first table is the one, which I could not figure, how I should handle it. My problem is, that I have to be very flexible, because it could be that, employee A works in January every Saturday not only every second one. I would have the appointments to a none ending date. (Because I hope the employee works there for the next couple of years) I hope you could give me some advice, how to get this done. THX a lot for every tip and have a nice happy new year! Harald
