Back to the Data Model.
The Area being Modelled is :-
Tracking People in Offices
Hello ,
first of all I apologize for my English.
Now, here's my problem : I'm trying to optimize my work planning the presence in the offices where I have to go .
The goal is to reduce travel by putting together the commitments at the same office or at neighboring offices by
ensuring that only one person go at a certain office and performs multiple tasks .
I was wondering if it was possible to use a database structure that should have considering that:
- There are various types of offices (about 20) ;
- Each city has only one office for each type of reference but can also be found in a different city ;
- Only some offices have detachments that ( in a fraction of the territory ) replace the main office ;
- Every office has sections (average 5) that only sometimes are found in different places in the same city .
Through the database I would like to know the presence of some people at the office, so that I can instruct them to
carry out the work to be done at those offices without the need to send them specially .
Thanks in advance for your attention
Gene
