Search and Rescue Equipment

Hi. I am not sure this is the right place to ask this question, but I'll give it a go. Most of my spare time is with the Norwegian Red Cross, where I manage a volunteer Search and Rescue division. I'we been trying to create an access database where we can track our equipment. Have tried several of the asset templates from Microsoft, but cant seem to get them how i want them.. This is my wish. I would like this to work without the use of keyboard or mouse. 1: A welcome window with the option to with only one text field. Here if you enter a code (with the scanner), you will brought to the "pickup" section, and another one will bring you to deliver section. At the Pickup section we have to identify the user by using the barcode on the ID-Card, after logged in, the user then "beeps" every single item he or she wants. I understand that there is no way getting to the next point from here, so maybe a timedelay? And after the "logout" you get back to the welcome screen. At the Deliver section we dont need to log in, just to "beep" the assets, with the same "logout" timedelay. Is this something you have ever made? and if so, what will it take us to get it? Thanks in advance. Best Regards Arne Hoffmann Sletten Lillesand Red Cross Norway
